The following description of our admission criteria which should help you assess your qualifications for admission to the Master’s of Science in Agriculture program.
It is our policy to accept as students only those applicants who qualify for WSU Graduate School Admission. Assistantships may be available through individual faculty grant support.
In order for an applicant to receive full consideration for admission, one or more members of our College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences faculty must express interest in serving as the applicant's advisor. Therefore, we strongly encourage applicants to contact directly, by phone and/or correspondence, any faculty member(s) whose interests seem to coincide with their own. A potential advisor's recommendation to the Graduate Admissions Committee will enhance the applicant's prospects for admission.
In addition to the minimum requirements set forth here for the Master’s of Science degree, all applicants must meet the general requirements of the Graduate School. You may want to have a preliminary evaluation from the department before initiating the Graduate School's formal application process and sending them the application fee.
